In 1988, ECOM’s first U.S. coffee trading and importing
operation was established. Located in New York City, Atlantic
(USA), Inc. trades and imports coffee from a multitude of
origins. Close relations and constant communication with its
fellow ECOM associates provides the trading team with current
origin information. This, in combination with daily
cupping to establish each individual coffee’s profile, allows
Atlantic to efficiently and successfully satisfy our client’s
requests.
As a principal supplier to U.S. and Canadian roasters,
Atlantic works with each of its customers to supply them with
green and decaffeinated coffees. Experienced in dealing with
conventional types, as well as specific farm and estate
coffee, Atlantic is a source for a wide array of coffee
that is suitable for any roaster’s needs.
Through its efforts to improve the conditions in producing

environment for Latin American coffee communities.
