ECOM opened its India office, ECOM Gill Coffee Trading Private Ltd., in 2000. With its head trading office in Bangalore, the main coffee trading center of India, it is strategically located near vital members of the Indian coffee industry such as the Coffee Auction Center, India Coffee Board, and numerous shipping companies.

Indian coffee, unique in its characteristics, is grown under shade with filtered sunlight to ensure its slow and even maturation. ECOM Gill operates a dry milling facility near Kushalnagar, as well as many toll facilities in the Chikmagalur, Mysore, Coorg, and the Giri Hill areas. At these facilities, unwashed and washed Arabica and Robusta coffee is processed, milled, and bagged for export.
