ECOM COFFEE GROUP EL SALVADOR was founded in 2004. The office is located in the country's capital, San Salvador. Ecom's objective is to add value to the Salvadorian coffee producers. This is done by giving support through programs such as the Starbucks C.A.F.E. Practices program, Fair Trade, Rain Forest Alliance and Organic certifications as well as promoting their finest coffees to the world.

Ecom is currently marketing some of the finest coffees from the El Salvador highlands: the Western Region of the Apaneca (Llamatepec Mountain Chain, Apaneca, Ataco, Juayua, La Majada, Los Naranjos and the Santa Ana volcano); the Central Region (the Balsam Mountain Chain); and the Eastern Region (Ciudad Barrios and Santiago de Maria).

As well, Ecom is actively participating in the National Program run in conjunction with the Salvadoran Government and PROCAFE to improve productivity by providing technical services to the coffee producers.
