In 2002, ECOM added another coffee operation to its group - Monpi Coffee Exports Ltd.

Located in Goroka, Monpi Coffee Exports Ltd. is a network composed of purchasing, milling, and warehousing facilities. All coffee offered from PNG is high grown, fully washed, and mostly sun dried. The vast majority of the crop is PNG Y1, however an assortment of high quality plantation coffee is also available. This coffee is sourced from single plantations that produce excellent qualities or from cooperatives and regions that combine their harvests to sell good quality coffee under a common name.
