ECOM launched its Indonesian operation in 1999, when it opened an office in Bandar Lampung. Within two years, the operation formed into the fully-owned and operated export company, PT Indo CafCo. Its subsequent addition of an arabica-based mill in Medan has further strengthened its presence in the Indonesian market.

Indonesia is one of the most diverse origins. Coffee is grown from Sabang to Merauke, an area that spans over three time zones. Specialty arabicas, high quality and industrial grade robustas, and even excelsa coffees are produced in this vast archipelago.

Our wide network of suppliers allows ECOM to actively seek coffee that matches our customers’ needs, while our strict quality control guarantees traceability. We fully support producers to be innovative and creative, so that Indonesia is always a source of new and unique types of coffee.
