Connect One ECOM: Progress Update
Article by: David Martinez
Dear All,
As 2024 begins, we are excited to update you on the progress of a critical project under the Connect One ECOM banner.
Over the last several months, a selection process for the CTRM pilot and delivery roadmap has been completed. Out of the 35 ECOM countries/more than 100 active companies, the criteria for selection of the pilot included companies with both origin and trading. The criteria excluded companies with no commodity trading operations (ERP need only) or with a specialized business model not requiring the full CTRM scope, and countries already running under other systems/own local CTRM.
The company ECOM Commodities India Private Limited with its commodity Coffee successfully covered all the criteria applied and we are delighted to be piloting the iRely CTRM in ECOM India. Congratulations to Vivek Gaur and his team!
“I really appreciate the trust that the group has placed in ECOM India and selected us to be the CTRM pilot project. We are truly honored and excited to be a part of this significant initiative. Please be assured that my team and I are fully committed to making this pilot project a success. We understand the importance of this endeavor and are ready to collaborate closely with the different ECOM teams as well as the iRely one. I am very much looking forward to the exciting and challenging days ahead.”
2024 will be an incredible opportunity to leverage the work the GPOs and SMEs have done, and pilot the CTRM in India, using the lessons to inform a broader global rollout in 2025.
