Specialty Coffee Association Japan 2023
At the end of September, our ECOM Village was present at the 20th Specialty Coffee Association’s event in Japan. This event is the largest specialty coffee conference and exhibition in Asia, and we are honored to have participated in its 20th edition!
For the Tokyo event, we brought together some members of the ECOM specialty family from Japan, Mexico, and Costa Rica to present their best coffee through multiple daily cuppings, and share our expertise in the coffee industry.
It was a great place to connect with our producers, roasters, and artisan coffee makers, as we explored the boundless possibilities that the coffee world has to offer.

Opening of our warehouse in Amsterdam
As part of the continuous improvement efforts to provide world class service to the cocoa powder customers worldwide, ECOM cocoa decided to in-source the cocoa powder warehouse operation in Amsterdam. The objective of this project was to transform an existing 9000 m2 building into a cost-efficient warehouse operation for cocoa powder; including implementation of a warehouse management system.
Thanks to this new warehouse operation, ECOM Cocoa has more control over the goods flow and can respond quickly to market demands.
