New Global Onboarding Programme launched
Article by: Lori Nirenstein
We are very excited to formally announce that ‘Welcome to ECOM’, our new global onboarding e-learning programme is now live and available through our Success Factors ETMS System in 7 languages - English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, German and Vietnamese. The e-learning programme aims to provide all new (and old!) employees with an overview and introduction to the ECOM Group wherever they are based in the world.
This programme gives all new joiners the chance to learn about One ECOM, our rich heritage, global footprint, supply chain, core commodities, our sustainability work and goals and key systems and policies.
Most of all, we cover stories about our greatest asset – our people!
Features of the course include interactive maps, pop quizzes, videos, photos and stories from our colleagues across the globe.
Even if you have been with us for a long time, we recommend that you take a look at this e-learning programme to learn more about the work we do at ECOM and how we all fit into the One ECOM family.
Since the launch in early March, we have received lots of positive feedback - here are some of the comments that staff have sent us about the course:
‘When I joined ECOM four years ago, this would have made a big difference in understanding things that took me months to notice and learn. Even now, I have learned a lot about our wonderful, huge, and complex organization. I am sure this will motivate new and current employees.’ - Laura Garcia, Customer Service Director, Mexico.
‘It made me feel part of the family’ - Laetitia Malan, Senior Legal Counsel, London
‘I've just completed the Welcome training as a new starter. Amazing! I'm even happier to be part of this amazing group.’ - Otavio Sandrin, New Joiner, Commercial Manager, Capricornio Coffee, Brazil
Employees can access the course through ‘my learning’ on ETMS, our Employee Talent Management System. All new joiners to ECOM globally will be automatically assigned the course on the platform which they will need to take within their first month of joining the company. As a current ECOM employee, you will also receive a notification from ‘learning@successfcators’ when we go live, giving you access to the course.
We hope you enjoy the programme.
