#celebratingcoffeepartnerships

The hashtag #celebratingcoffeepartnerships was created at Condesa as we're trying to champion all our ECOM suppliers in this great coffee supply chain we're all a part of. Here in Australia we often speak to roasters that do not realize how big our family is and what coffee companies are a part of it. Through the social media platform Condesa is trying to change that perception. By the simple way of creating posts that celebrate our partnerships (see examples of video reels for Dormans and Capricornio), and writing about our great ECOM network, we hope to see this perspective change, not just locally but globally. In the past we as individual companies have worked in individual silos and not interconnected across businesses as often as we should.

By the way of social media we can showcase our partnerships through our collaboration of quality control, exports / imports, SMS, sustainability and even individuals of excellence etc. The more we can collaborate on social media in the future, the stronger our connections and growth can be achieved. Our plan in 2024 is to talk about all of our great ECOM family and how we're celebrating coffee partnerships!

Weeding out problem plants

Weeds can be a real problem for coffee farmers. Those with deep root systems compete with coffee trees for nutrients, reducing yields. However, weeds with shallow roots can help with water and nutrient retention and by increasing soil microbial diversity, which can help lead to higher yields for farmers.
